English language requirements

The Navitas Workforce Solutions Professional Year Program is designed for international graduates of ICT, engineering and accounting. As you will be studying in Australia, you will need to have a certain level of English language proficiency before you can apply.

A widely accepted international measurement for English language skills is the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

What is IELTS?

IELTS is a testing system that assesses the language ability of people who need to work or study in an environment where English is the spoken and written language.

The test consists of four components: listening, reading, writing and speaking. To be eligible for the NWS Professional Year Program, you need a minimum of IELTS 6.0 in all bands.

How can I sit the test?

There are IELTS testing centres throughout Australia and in many other countries throughout the world. To sit for the test you will need to complete an application form. You can download the form or contact your nearest IELTS centre.
