Host companies – Professional Year

Choose from the best

Navitas Workforce Solutions (NWS) provides you with the opportunity to source entry-level staff through our innovative and highly popular Professional Year Program.

The Program is approved by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC), and is offered to international graduates of Australian universities. It is designed to give them the skills and training they need to make a successful transition to the workforce.

About the Professional Year Program

This 44 week program includes 26 weeks of theoretical classes and workshops, covering topics such as Australian work practices, effective business communication, client service and work safety.

Students also complete a practical, 12-week internship with a host company. This is where your organisation comes in. In partnership with NWS, you will provide a safe learning environment and a mentor who can provide basic supervision and direction to the intern during their placement.

Please note: Internships are unpaid positions and Navitas will provide all the training material needed.
