There is currently a high demand for engineering, IT and accounting professionals in Australia. If you work in these industries and have ever thought about living and working overseas, now is the perfect time to think about it a little more seriously. Where to begin

Before you can live and work in Australia, you will need to be sponsored. To qualify for sponsorship you must be degree qualified and have relevant professional experience in your field.

There are two options for sponsorship, both options providing the same result:

  1. Be sponsored directly by an employing hospital or healthcare facility.
  2. Be sponsored through NWS.

Contacting us

If you qualify for sponsorship, the next step is to contact us and provide us with your details. As soon as we have your employment details, we can match you with a prospective employer and arrange for you to be interviewed. If you are successful in your application, we will send you an Offer of Employment, which you will need to sign.

Planning to leave home

As soon as we receive your signed Offer of Employment, you will be assigned a Relocation Consultant who will be responsible for organising your visa and/or registration, as well as your travel and accommodation arrangements.

Arriving in Australia

When you arrive in your new country, you and your family (if they are relocating with you) will be met at the airport by your Relocation Consultant and taken to your pre-arranged accommodation. Now is the time to complete any outstanding paperwork, open a bank account, apply for a tax file number and medical insurance, and organise a lease on your new home. Your Relocation Consultant will help you with all of these details.

Once you’ve settled in, you’ll be taken through an orientation program and shown around your new workplace. Now is your chance to meet your new colleagues and ask questions.

Support when you need it

Your Relocation Consultant is there to offer you support and assistance should you need it at any time during your contract period.
